This scripture had been running though my head as was drawing. Not sure why. Today, I had to laugh, because a small woman confounded many men by dressing as a man to be on the ship’s crew so she would not be separated from her fiancé. They named the mountain after her, Petit Jean, when she dies of an illness, and built an iron fence around her grave at the overlook. People still lay flowers inside the fence.
